Points for PrayerPray for us as we are in our 40th year of ministry.
- Ask God to provide open doors with many opportunities to minister.
- We have a couple of "UNSPOKEN" PRAYER REQUEST that we'd like you pray about. Nothing bigger than our God!
- Ask God to protect us over the thousands of miles we drive or fly each year.
- Praise God for several baptisms and rededications we've witnessed each year.
- Pray for effectiveness in all areas of ministry -- concert work, family renewals and marriage enrichments -- coping with crisis seminars, counseling, sound system installs, recording, etc.
- Pray for Monte Hunt, the youngest of the "Little Gateways", as he and Amy are deciding exactly where God wants Monte to ne a worship rminister.
- Pray for both Nita McSpdden and Margaret Hunt, the Gateways' two living parents. Nita McSpadden, Dave's mother, lives in the Portland OR area. Margaret Hunt,, Don's mother, lives in Ottumwa, IA. Both of them are in their 80's, doing well, and are active in their local churches.
- Pray for our families to stay healthy, as we travel and are around so many people. After 40 years of road ministry, our bodies aren't as young as they were, "Once upon a time, a long time ago", The stage work is easier than the traveling. Packing up, and tearing down. That's the work!!
- Pray for our financial needs to be met. Ours is a "Faith Ministry". Finances are always challenging, year-round; especially with the economy the way it is and rising fuel prices. We don't return home to 9 - 5 jobs. This is our life and ministry! Every Sunday night, the Gateways basically are unemployed. We leave our homes each trip trusting GOD TO PROVIDE for our needs. In faithy, we can continue to plant good seeds for Jesus! "And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus." (Phil 4:19)
- Pray for Molly (McSpadden) Franke and for Amy Hunt, Monte's wife. Both are exprecting in October 2009. This will be Molly's second baby and Amy's first.
- Pray for all our six children to remain faithful to the Lord, His calling, and leading in their lives and homes.

- Pray for America's new leadership. Romans 13 says that all governments are put in power by Almighty God. Our position is to pray and ask God to preserve our freedoms and to be able to pursue our godly values.
